Volunteer Opportunities
Our shows come to life because of our volunteers. Whether you're a lifelong equestrian or simply love horses, there's a meaningful role for you, from dressage scribing to the show office.
No experience is necessary, just enthusiasm and a willingness to be part of something special. We offer flexible time slots throughout the weekend to fit your schedule.

Meet Sand Hill Equestrian
Molly Kaster
Owner & Show Manager
Founder of Sand Hill Equestrian Events and a lifelong advocate for accessible, high-quality horse shows. Outside the office, she's riding Joey or running with her dog, Doug.
Elizabeth Schaffernoth
Show Secretary
The detail expert behind entries, schedules, and show-day communication. She rides in the eventing world and is never far from her dog, Piper.
Caroline Jack
Office Manager
Has been with the show from day one, keeping every detail on track from ribbons to shavings. She rides her mare, Sage, and has three dogs at home: Hunter, Percy, and Frankie.
Charlotte Holt
Creative & Operations
Handles our prize list, website, and behind-the-scenes logistics. A North Carolina native who grew up eventing and is working toward the jumper ring.
Carie Van Dusen
Grounds & Hospitality
The eye behind our show grounds, from jump flowers to the office deck. A longtime horsewoman, she now rides Cloudy.
